Ronald D. Moore and Diana Gabaldon spoke to Access Hollywood about casting Roger and Brianna for Outlander season two. This interview is from earlier in January at the Television Critics Association press tour. At the time of this interview, Brianna was not cast, but Roger (Richard Rankin) was. The “very close” quote from Ron was written up by us previously from another source. I would have thought with Roger that they would have shown Diana audition footage, but apparently not yet in the case of this interview.
