The preview suggests this episode will center on Jamie (Sam Heughan) and William (Charles Vandervaart) rushing off to rescue Lord John (David Berry). It appears that another rider goes with Jamie and William, and it looks like a female, so is it Claire (Caitriona Balfe) or Brianna (Sophie Skelton)? Cleveland (Turlough Convery) also shows up at the Ridge to presumably announce that Ferguson is getting closer.
