‘Outlander’ Costume Designer Terry Dresbach Leaving the Show

For four seasons, Outlander costume designer Terry Dresbach has designed the costumes of Jamie and Claire and the myriad of other characters that have popped up on our screens in the past three seasons and the ones we have yet to see.  Today, Terry announced that the fourth season was her last season with the show.  There is already a replacement selected, but that person’s name has not been announced yet.

Terry cites missing her family, seeing her kids grow up, and her health as the main reasons for leaving the show.  Her husband, Ronald D. Moore, will remain as showrunner and will not be leaving the show.

She is also opening up the Pinterest boards that were used for her and production designer Jon Gary Steele for season one through three.  After season four airs, that season’s boards will be open to view.

We wish Terry all the luck in the world on her future endeavors.  She was one of the original crew members of Outlander to interact with fans from the beginning.  We will miss seeing her vision on the small screen.
