The cast of Outlander are finishing filming the last two episodes of season one. Scotland Now released an article and behind the scenes photos of Sam Heughan (Jamie), Caitriona Balfe (Claire), and Duncan Lacroix (Murtagh) filming by the water in the town of Troon, Scotland. You can also see stunt doubles or stand-ins in the photos.
The article also mentions that they are taking aerial shots of Blackrock and Ladyisle and filming at Barskimming Estate in Ayrshire.
Book readers will know what part of the book they are filming, but we will not mention that here. Suffice it to say it involves a very impressive ship.
