In April 2016 Sam Heughan was appointed the Grand Marshall in the New York Tartan Day Parade. One of the sponsors of that parade were Barbour, a well known U.K. based clothing brand. After meeting, Sam soon became a Barbour Global Brand Ambassador in July 2016. Since then he has collaborated on three capsule collections with Barbour, his most recent coming out for the Autumn and Winter of 2018.
