Unofficial Audition Tape from Henry Nixon

Another set of audition tapes has turned up, this time an actor named Henry Nixon going for the part of Frank/Jack Randall. He has posted five videos it seems, and he said in a comment on one that he put these videos up for the casting directors to download. Now, I don’t know if that means they asked him to do this, or if this is like the earlier audition tape that Starz commented on, saying that this is a method actors use to try to get around the proper casting channels.

There isn’t much information about him on IMDB, but he has done a good deal more work than the actress in the previous tape we posted about. He had a small part in ‘Happy Feet’ and he also acted in ‘Sleeping Beauty’ with Emily Browning. He graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney and also studied at Narrabundah College in Canberra.

I am posting the five videos here if you would like to take a look. In the first two, he is playing the part of Jack Randall, when he first interrogates Claire.

The next three are him playing the part of Frank when he is telling Claire about his encounter with the ghost.
