Some sad news came out on July 3rd. Writer/producer Anne Kenney shared on Twitter that she will not be back for season four of Outlander. She has decided to leave and pursue other projects. Anne wrote one episode of season three, episode 302. She was also responsible for some great episodes in season one and two like “The Wedding” and “The Hail Mary.” Another bonus tidbit she shared was the Outlander season four writers’ room is mostly women!
