New theme song? First I’ve read about that. It’s still Bear’s work, yes????

    • distachio

Yes, it’s still Bear’s work. They don’t mean the theme song, which I believe will remain unchanged. They mean character themes from the score. Each character, or in some cases, group of characters, has their own theme that is heard in the background when that character is on the screen. Bear said in a recent interview that he researched the French music of the period to develop the new character themes.

aha! that sounds creative and interesting!
