New Season Two ‘Outlander’ Official Photo with Jamie and Murtagh

It looks like Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix) find themselves in a midst of some risque entertainment at least once while they are in Paris.  Starz shared this photo today via social media from the second season of Outlander.

In one of the stories I read about this new season, I learned that there have beee n 5,000 new 18th century shoes made for the upcoming season of 2016 as the wear & tear on period shoes is so – well – completely awful & slippery when worn out too. while working on the film “Interview With The Vampire” in the ’90’s In New Orleans, I & another trusting soul were tasked w/bringing several props up to the production office in Canal Place for approval one day & loaded them onto the elevator (not the storage lift as it was not a heavy load and would fit in the reg. lift. we were too slow getting the dead (stuffed) colonial man with a sack over his head and sitting in a nice colonial char in a corner however & the door closed on him. After waiting for the lift to return to us, about ten minutes later, we found our man, still in his chair w/bag in place, but, someone had stolen his shoes. What would anyone want with a pair of 18th century buckle shoes for me? The other objects that were constantly being stolen were black mourning wreaths. As I was charged with making those myself, that was no catastrophe, what & who would anyone wish to have a black ribbon & black rose adorned wreath for? I also had to call a construction company to order several tons of dirt to be dumped and spread upon several blocks of the French Quarter . With my very childish voice I was certain I would not be taken seriously,& tried to dissuade Mr.Jordan (I believe that was his intention for many of the production staff were waiting for the interesting exchange that ensued. as most produtions are frought w/such fales filled w/ humor will you share a few of your favorites please?

I have been a fan of outlander since the first time I opened the first book. I loved the realism in Diana Gabaldon’s characters and in the way they were not thruspend to think about the things he must think about in order to think about the thine the time to y havst into the life of the wealthiest Prince or Duke’s estate as though they were magically and fatefully blessed to have a precious snowflake Princess Life. (usually, they were even blessed with the ability to understand the language of the medieval Knights or Kings or Dukes or Princes they were to fall madly in love with also which would definitely not be so) In most cases) Claire is so very real! Jaime is amazing! most of the men of that tine (in time travel romance or fantasy novels -( even some of the better ones) seem to act like the heroines’ best GIRL Friend rather than her hero, or her lover, or husband. I am SO thrilled that Jamie Frazer is NOT at all a Sissy!! So many of the guys in SO Many of the other novels are just a bunch of overly sensitive sissies who think so mugrowch about the things that the women they care about – they could not possibly have the time to tihink about the things he must think about in order to become the man he must become in order to continue to grow into all that he must become in order to have a fulfilling life and remain interesting to her.
